I am Dennis Luis Mantilla, a 35 year old composer of Ballads (love songs). I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and came to live in New York at the age of 4. My first passion for music came when I was 5 years old and it was only for Merengue, a dominican style of music. It was not until the age of 13 that I started listening to other genres of music such as Ballads and Electronic Music.

I taught myself the piano at the age of 13 and learned many songs by ear. I started taking music courses in college when I was 21 years old and that was when I decided to pursue music as a career. I proudly studied at the music program of Queens College. It was at that same college that I composed my first Ballad, "I am Only Yours" which was dedicated to the first girl I truly fell in love with.
My influences for Pop/Ballads are Enrique Iglesias especially his first debut album in 1995, many love songs of the 80's, Luis Miguel, Luis Fonsi, Ricardo Montaner, Richard Marx, Chicago, Bryan Adams, Barry Manilow, Christian Castro, Franco De Vita, & many more.
On my website you will find Ballads that I sang myself but what I am really looking for is someone that has good vocals so we can get my album into a decent record label.

If you go into the section "Videos of Ballads" I have 3 of my songs already sung by a professional vocalist named "NT Martin." His vocals are amazing and truly thankful for his talent.
